New Management Team

After a lengthy recruitment process, we are delighted to announce our new management team comprising Co-Managers Ruairidh Fleming and Paul Currie, supported by Assistant Manager Kenny Hall.

The new management team bring with them an exciting blend of experience which the club feels will build on the strong platform created by the previous coaching team.

Ruairidh joins having most recently formed part of the coaching staff at EoSFL First Division Club Preston Athletic, where Ruairidh spent around 4 years in various roles including management of a successful u20’s team. Ruairidh is a young and ambitious coach with a strong track record of developing and improving young players which we feel will be of huge benefit to the club moving forward.

Paul will need little introduction to many having played for senior clubs including Raith Rovers, Berwick Rangers, Hamilton Academicals and Arbroath – forming part of the team that secured a draw at Celtic Park in the Scottish Cup in 2012 with Arbroath, as well as successful spells in the lower leagues with, amongst others, his hometown team Musselburgh Athletic. Most recently, Paul was Co-Manager at Preston Athletic, before brief spells with Dunbar United and Ormiston Primrose. We’d like to thank the latter for their cooperation in this matter. Paul joins as co-manager, and will continue in a playing capacity.

Kenny enjoyed the bulk of his playing career with Leith Athletic, where he won the East of Scotland Premier Division title in 2015/16. After brief spells at Dunbar United and Ormiston Primrose, he was forced into early retirement in 2018 due to injury. After a short stint as a coach at Leith Athletic, Kenny went onto manage Tranent Amateurs in the LEAFA Premier Division, where he’s spent the last three seasons.

“We are absolutely thrilled to join such a fantastic football club. Linton Hotspur has made tremendous progress both on and off the pitch in recent years, and it’s a privilege to take the reins with the club in such a strong league position. Full credit goes to the players and the previous coaching staff for their efforts in achieving this. With the collective experience we bring as a coaching team, our immediate focus is to guide the team to a successful conclusion this season before building towards sustained success in the seasons ahead.New Management Team

The club would also like to place on record our thanks to the interim management team, comprising current players Steven Tait, Blair Craig and Liam McIntosh alongside coaches Drew Sanson and Ben Gilmour, who have provided stability and continuity for the players and wider club throughout the recruitment process.
