Club Statement

Linton Hotspur Football Club can today confirm that Chris King and Scott Gibson have stepped down from their positions to take up new roles with Dunbar United. This marks the end of a significant chapter for both individuals at our club.

The Club is naturally disappointed to lose two dedicated and talented professionals, but we fully support their decision to embrace a new challenge. Chris and Scott leave Linton Hotspur with the heartfelt gratitude of everyone associated with the club. Their contributions on and off the pitch have been invaluable, and their commitment to the team's success and development will be remembered fondly.

On behalf of the entire Linton Hotspur community, we extend our sincere thanks to Chris and Scott for their service. We wish them the very best in their future endeavors at Dunbar United and hope their new roles bring them continued success.

The Club's committee will now begin the important process of identifying and appointing a new management team to lead Linton Hotspur into the next phase of our journey. We are confident that this transition will provide an opportunity to build upon the solid foundations laid by Chris and Scott, and we remain committed to achieving our goals on the field and fostering a strong community spirit off it.

Further updates regarding the appointment process will be shared in due course. Thank you to our players, supporters, and stakeholders for your ongoing support during this time of transition.
