Hotspurs Academy
We are a progressive Community Football Club based at New Moor Road, West Linton. Our Academy section was formed in 2008, to provide opportunities for boys & girls from West Linton and its surrounding communities to play the game.
The club are members of the Scottish Youth Football Association (SYFA), the Scottish Borders Junior Football Association (SBJFA), The East of Scotland Soccer Development Association (ESSDA).

To provide opportunities for children and young people to play football in a safe environment.
To teach the concepts of teamwork, commitment, accountability, sportsmanship, loyalty, honesty, and pride
To help children and young people to learn skills and values for later life
To develop skills and proficiency in the game of football and related activities.
To stimulate community interest in football
SFA Quality Mark
We have retained the Scottish Football Association Quality Mark in January 2022. To attain the Quality Mark the club had to fulfil several conditions. These include:
Establish a Child Protection Policy and appoint a child protection officer
The development plan is currently under review
