Strategic Partnership Announcement – Linton Hotspur FC / Salvesen CFC
Linton Hotspur FC is delighted to announce the beginning of a strategic partnership with renowned Edinburgh based football club, Salvesen CFC. With immediate effect, the clubs have come together to operate an Under 20’s team in the East of Scotland, West Region, Development League for 2024/2025, lead by Head Coach Kevin Clark.
Linton Hotspur Chair, Campbell Forsyth said, “we are delighted to secure this partnership with Salvesen CFC. Our partnership is built on our shared ethos of developing young players, and having a clear pathway into senior first team football – something Salvesen have been successfully doing for a long period of time. Whilst our initial focus is on the development and operation of the Under 20’s team, we will be looking to explore further opportunities within our respective clubs to generate a structure and partnership that provides wider benefit across multiple age groups.”
Salvesen Chair, Graham Buckley commented, “this is a unique and fantastic opportunity for Salvesen CFC to progress our ambitions in creating a pathway into senior football. We have been in discussions with the team at Linton Hotspur for several months, and have viewed their excellent facilities, and firmly believe both clubs share the same philosophy on the development of young players.”
Whilst there is already a core of players from our respective Under 17 and Under 18 teams, we are interested to hear from any players born in 2005, 2006 and 2007. Interested players should contact Kevin Clark on 07931943699.
Furthermore, we have a range of sponsorship opportunities available for this age group – please contact Campbell Forsyth should you require any further information (07732014297 / Campbell.forsyth@cbre.com).
